Message Some of the advantages to the HOWE are Larger Capacity is the obvious one. The fin design is very effiecient, and fin to tube contact is very tightly wound. HOWE has been around for 30+ years and has a proven record with cooling race cars. Years ago they invested millions into a machine to manufacture their Cores. This actually sets their cores apart from the rest of the industry. This machine keeps all of the Fins an equal distance across and keeps the tubes very coupled together. If you look very closely at other radaitors (Not saying Koyo casue I have not been able to inspect one out of a car), you will see uneven gaps in fins and tubes, this decreases the effieciency of the radaitor.

The same core that is used for the 300ZX radiator is also used to cool a 1000HP 454 Hill Climber.

Just to make it clear, I am not saying the Koyo is a bad product. I have not been able to evaluate one or seen any conclusive test data (besides my needle does not move) to think that it is comparable to the Custom Howe. As far as for Dollar to Dollar, the HOWE is a better choice, 365 shipped includes a drain, temp sensor fititng (for aftermarket temp sensor) and a cap, oh yeah and the radaitor. Where as the Koyo is 355 + shipping.
